Counseling, Accessibility, & Support Services Office
Overview
Hi Vanguards,
Let us reintroduce ourselves to you. My name is Cathy Davis, and I serve as the Counselor and Coordinator of Counseling, Accessibility, & Support Services. This is Malik Hargrove, and he serves as the CASS Student Support Technician. We coordinate counseling services through the Student Assistance Program and offer support services which include help with finding resources for food, housing, clothing, funding for household needs, etc. All of these services are accessible to you as students at Vance-Granville Community College. The Community College Resource Finder-Findhelp platform is one of the tools used to find free and reduced cost services. Also, if you did not know, VGCC has its own food pantry, because we know a well feed student is a focused student.
We are so excited to share this information with you. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us. Our contact numbers and emails are included in this correspondence. We care about your total well-being at VGCC and as fellow Vanguards it gives us joy to serve you and see you excel. Continue to be the best you. Have a wonderful day and use these FREE services.
