College & Career Readiness
Thank you for your interest in College & Career Readiness at Vance-Granville Community College. We are excited to support you earning your GED or improving your English proficiency.
CCR classes are designed to meet the needs of adult learners 18 years of age or older. Potential students who are 16 or 17 years old will need to first attend an Information Session for Minors as part of an application process prior to admission into any of the CCR classes. The process for enrollment:
Step 1: View our Virtual Orientation Video
*Be prepared to take notes on the information given.
Step 2: Complete the following:
- Review Title IX Information
- Official Registration Form (NCCCS.myContinued) – For previous students, please reach out to [email protected]
Completion of the registration form is required before registration for placement testing. Placement tests that are submitted without completing step 2 will be declined.
Step 3: Please use the yellow Placement Testing Link to schedule your test. The testing center is available for placement testing on Wednesdays at 8:30am, by appointment only. Location details will be provided in your confirmation email.
Once placement testing is done, you will receive an email from your advisor informing you of your class placement and official start date.
