How much will this cost?

• One-time fee of $229.50 which is billed through the college and not the bookstore.
• Students in participating classes will only need to pay this fee one time per academic year.

Will I save Money?

Yes! Students can save up to 60% or 80% based on savings at other schools.

How do I access my materials?

• The Cengage Unlimited materials will be available through Moodle starting the first day of class.
• Your instructor will provide a link in Moodle to access Cengage.

How often are materials supplied?

Required materials are supplied the first day of class for participating classes.

Is it required?

Students are not required to participate in the VGCC Textbook+ program; VGCC encourages our students to purchase required course materials in the way that works best for their unique needs.

How do I opt-out?

Students may opt-out of the program at the start of each term using the VGCC Textbook+ Portal. Specific deadlines will be sent via email.

If you choose to opt-out, you must click “Opt-Out” on the right side of every course listed.

Please check your school email address for important information about opting-out through the VGCC Textbook+ Portal. Email will come from [email protected] and you may need to check spam or junk folders.

What if I opt-out?

Students who opt-out of the VGCC Textbook+ Program are responsible for finding and purchasing their required course materials on their own. All materials will be available at the VGCC Bookstore where you can pick from different format and pricing options.

What if I change my mind?

Students may opt-themselves back into the program using the VGCC Textbook+ Portal before the deadline passes. If you choose to Opt-In, be sure to “Opt-In” to all courses.

If you drop a course within the Cengage program, you will automatically be opted out for that specific course.

If you add a course within the Cengage program, please allow 24-48 hours before opting-in or out of the program for that course.
