Section 3.F – Evaluation of Employees
The President approves such instruments and/or procedures that will serve to provide for the most effective evaluation of each employee’s performance of assigned duties, cooperativeness, and support of the institution’s goals and objectives. All full-time faculty, professional, and support personnel are to be evaluated annually. Part-time faculty are to be evaluated on a regular basis which may depend on their teaching schedule. All other parttime and temporary personnel may be evaluated as deemed appropriate by their supervisor.

Procedures
- The evaluations will be completed at the times specified in the current planning calendar.
- The supervisor will schedule an evaluation conference to discuss performance items on the appropriate form. The evaluation conference will also address specific performance criteria cited in the employee’s job description or assignment as well as professional development requirements.
- Employees will also be asked to complete a self-evaluation in preparation for the evaluation conference.
- A signed copy of the completed evaluation, recommendations, and required follow-up requirements, if any, will be placed in the employee’s personnel file.
