Dorothy Cascino

Major: Associate in Arts
Spare time: Watch movies with my family, read books, play the guitar, and write poetry.
Future plans: After my time at VGCC, I plan to pursue a career in aircraft mechanics. I am hoping to get my Airframe and Powerplant license in the upcoming years.
Interesting Fact: I have assisted in making various parts for vintage airplane repairs.

Tia Evans

Major: Associate Degree Nursing
Spare time: Play the piano, watch anime, write, and learn how to crochet.
Future plans: To become a nurse.
Interesting Fact: I play the piano.

Laila Harris-Santana

Major: Associate in Arts
Spare time: Read books & poetry, go out to eat with friends and go on jogs/runs.
Future plans: Going into psychology or neurology field/program in college.
Interesting Fact: I run the 800m dash and the 800m relay.

Montrel McNatt

Major: Associate Degree Nursing
Spare time: I like to sit outside with my puppy.
Future plans: Graduate from the Nursing program and further my education.
Interesting Fact: I love helping others.

Deja Perry

Major: Associate in Arts
Spare time: Read, write poetry and short stories, play guitar, and draw.
Future plans: I plan to attend an HBCU for 2 years after graduating from high school with an Associate in Arts
Interesting Fact: I am a theater nerd and can recite almost every song from Hamilton: An American Musical.

Misty Senter

Major: Histotechnology
Spare time: Cook, Garden, Paddleboard, and lift weights.
Future plans: I currently work in a medical lab and after graduation, I hope to be promoted within my company.
Interesting Fact: I completed my first powerlifting competition at the age of 45.

De’Shun Woods

Major: Associate in Arts
Spare time: I like to help others who are in need relating to academics. Additionally, I enjoy reading horror/science fiction novels.
Future plans: I plan on majoring in English at a four-year university; hoping to become a secondary education English teacher.
Interesting Fact: I enjoy supernatural horror movies.
