Military Credits

Transfer credit will be awarded for successful completion of ACE credit approved courses as reflected on an official military JST (Joint Services Transcript) if equivalent in both content and hours to course offerings at VGCC.

VGCC awards one course per qualifying exam. Credit for AP and CLEP test scores are entered as transfer credit on the student’s VGCC transcript and do not count towards the student’s VGCC grade point average. A total of 75% of a degree or diploma may be earned as transfer credit. At least 25% of credits must be earned at VGCC for successful degree or diploma completion.
