Vending Machines and Other Convenience Concessions
Section 6.B – Vending Machines and Other Convenience Concessions
The College budgets, accounts for, and expends the funds generated through vending machines and other convenience concession activities in accordance with G.S. 115D-58.13. Funds generated through vending facilities, vending machines, and other convenience concession activities shall not be used to supplement the salary of the President.
Profits from vending machines and other convenience concession activities not included in the bookstore operations may be used as follows:
- Support of the operating expenses of the vending machines and other concessions
- For other institutional related expenditures authorized by the College President
- For other expenditures of direct benefit to students
Vending machines in need of repair or restocking should be reported to the Business Office. The Bookstore is responsible for receiving and processing requests for refunds of money lost due to a malfunctioning vending machine.
