Cost of Attendance Budgets

VGCC’s cost of attendance is an estimate of educational expenses a student will have for a period of enrollment and sets the limit on the total aid a student may receive.
A student’s cost of attendance is the sum of the following components: tuition, fees, books and supplies, room and board, miscellaneous living expenses and transportation. The components for a student enrolled less than half-time are tuition, fees, books and supplies and transportation.
Below are the cost of attendance budgets for students living at home (with parent) and living away from home (not with parent/off-campus). In addition, the budgets are listed by tuition rates; in-state vs. out of state.
