Professional Licensure Disclosure Statements
Vance-Granville Community College (VGCC) has been approved to participate in the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement (NC-SARA). However, NC-SARA does not deal with professional licensing board approval for any courses or programs leading to professional licensure. If you are not a resident of North Carolina and you are taking an online or hybrid course or program leading to professional licensure, please contact the program head at VGCC to discuss licensure options prior to beginning a VGCC academic program in order to determine whether the program meets licensure requirements in your state.

Pharmacy Technology | VGCC’s Pharmacy Technology Program prepares students as Validating Technicians as defined by the North Carolina Board of Pharmacy Rules, Statutes, and Board Policies Section 21 NAC 46.1418. The program is a recognized education and training program by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB).
Students are eligible to sit for an examination as a Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician with the PTCB . PTCB Certification is accepted in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Guam, and Puerto Rico. Individual state registration or licensure varies by state. It is recommended to confirm eligibility requirements with the organization you plan to become recognized by. |
