VGCC offers small business seminar on Hiring

Vance-Granville Community College’s Small Business Center will offer a free seminar, entitled “How to Find and Hire Great People,” from 9 a.m. until noon on Wednesday, Jan. 26 in room 7107 of Building 7 on the college’s main campus in Vance County.

The seminar will help business owners and managers find the best candidates for jobs — and eliminate those they do not want — in a cost-effective way. Participants will also learn the most effective questions to ask when interviewing potential employees.

John Formica, a Charlotte-based consultant, will lead the three-hour seminar.
