This dynamic couple has dedicated their lives to education, leadership, entrepreneurship, and youth empowerment—making a lasting impact across North Carolina and beyond.
As Vice President of Workforce and Community Engagement at Vance-Granville Community College, Dr. Edmonds is a visionary leader whose work in higher education, business development, and community engagement has inspired countless others. A past executive with Johnson & Johnson and IBM, Dr. Edmonds continues to lead with innovation, faith, and service—currently serving as Chair of Turning Point CDC’s Board of Directors and President of the Henderson Rotary Club.
Coach “D” (Dorcel) embodies passion and purpose as the Executive Director and co-founder of the Edmonds Tennis & Education Foundation (ETEF), where she leads programs that provide free tennis instruction and life skills education to more than 500 youth each year. A proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc, Coach D’s leadership, grace, and entrepreneurial spirit have inspired generations.
Together, they are a powerful example of what it means to serve with love, vision, and integrity. Their faith and commitment to community have touched countless lives — and we are beyond grateful to celebrate their legacy.
