VGCC offers Seminar on Persuasion

Vance-Granville Community College’s Small Business Center will offer a free seminar, entitled “Power of Persuasion,” from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 27 in room 7107 of Building 7 on the college’s main campus in Vance County.

The seminar, presented by Deborah Barberousse of Shelby, N.C., is designed for business leaders whose success is due in large part to their ability to influence others in order to meet common goals. Key elements of the seminar are how to gain and sustain support for ideas, how to effectively motivate others and how to use persuasive communication to create a successful and constructive business environment.
