VGCC offers seminar on Hiring

Vance-Granville Community College’s Small Business Center will offer a free seminar, entitled “How to Hire the Right People,” from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 4 in room 7107 of Building 7 on the college’s main campus in Vance County.

The seminar will help business owners and managers find the best candidates for jobs and eliminate those they do not want. Participants will also learn proven ways to keep good performers from leaving a business.

John Formica, a Charlotte-based consultant, will lead the three-hour seminar.
