VGCC offers Seminar on Giving Presentations

Vance-Granville Community College’s Small Business Center will offer a free seminar, entitled “Elevate Your Presentation Skills,” in January. The seminar will be held from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 14 in room 7107 of Building 7 on the college’s main campus in Vance County.

This seminar is designed for anyone who has experienced sweaty palms or “butterflies” in the stomach when addressing a group or giving a report. Participants will learn how to become better speakers who can keep their audiences focused and interested.

John Formica, a Charlotte-based consultant, will lead the three-hour seminar.
