VGCC offers Customer Service Seminar

Vance-Granville Community College’s Small Business Center will present a free seminar, “Super Customer Service,” on Tuesday, March 6. The seminar will be held from 9 a.m. until noon in room 7107 of Building 7 on the college’s main campus in Vance County.

Mike Collins, who is president of The Perfect Workday Company in Raleigh and has led numerous seminars at VGCC in the past, will be the instructor for the three-hour seminar. “Customer service either makes or breaks a business,” Collins said. “If you aren’t taking care of your customers, your competitors soon will be.” In this high-energy seminar, participants will learn how to assess the current state of customer service at their businesses and how to improve it. They will also discuss dealing with “problem” customers and how to motivate employees to deliver high levels of service.

VGCC Small Business Center Director Diane Finch advised that space is limited for this free seminar. To reserve a seat, pre-register by calling the Small Business Center at (252) 738-3275 or 738-3240.
