VGCC Now Offers 24/7 Tech Support


Vance-Granville Community College has partnered with Anthology Helpdesk to offer students, faculty, and staff improved technical support for Moodle, our learning management system. Tech help is now available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Even during evenings and weekends, VGCC Moodle users can talk to a person to get technical questions answered in real time!

We encourage our students and faculty to take advantage of this option to receive help at any time with Moodle. The Anthology Helpdesk can provide password resets for your Vanguard ID, which is used to access Moodle, myVGCC, and your VGCC email. (Please note that your VGCC passwords are linked. Changing your password for one of those applications changes it for all three.)

If your question is not answered by reaching out to Anthology Helpdesk, your request will be escalated to our Moodle/IT Support Staff at VGCC. We will continue to work towards a resolution during normal business hours.

More than 45 North Carolina Community College institutions currently use Anthology Helpdesk/LMS Support. VGCC is excited to become part of the Anthology Helpdesk network to provide students in online, seated, and hybrid classes with around-the-clock technical support!
