Warren, Franklin People Invited To Learn To Make Money On Web

In this electronic age, more and more businesses are turning to the worldwide web to increase their profits. “Making Money on the Web” is a workshop being offered to small business operators in Warren and Franklin counties.

Vance-Granville Community College’s Small Business Center is cooperating with the small business centers of Halifax and Nash community colleges to present the workshop on Thursday, Feb. 13, at Halifax Community College in Weldon. Small business operators in Halifax, Nash and Northampton counties will also participate.

The workshop will begin at 4 p.m. and will feature a panel of success stories and a presentation on “The Nuts and Bolts of E-Commerce” by Glenn Christopher. Following dinner, the symposium will conclude with a presentation on “How to Attract Business to Your Website.”

The $15 fee for the workshop includes dinner. Registration deadline is Tuesday, Feb. 11. To register, send the names of everyone attending, the name of the company and its phone number, and $15 for each attendee to Halifax Community College, Attn: Willa Dickens, P.O.
