VGCC Warren Campus offers Substitute Teacher Training

Vance-Granville Community College will offer a Substitute Teacher Training course at its Warren County Campus, starting later this month. The course will be held Monday and Wednesday evenings from 5:30 until 8:30 p.m., Sept. 27 through Oct. 27. The Warren Campus is located at 210 West Ridgeway Street in Warrenton.

Through this 30-hour course, participants will learn about subjects such as classroom and behavioral management, effective lesson delivery, and professional conduct.

The cost of the course is $120 plus a $3 campus access/security fee. Seating is limited, so students are encouraged to pre-register immediately.
