VGCC student wins Drawing

Vance-Granville Community College recently held a contest that rewarded registering early for classes in the spring 2011 semester. New or returning students who completed all the necessary steps related to applying, orientation and registration by Dec. 2, 2010 could enter a drawing for a chance to win a $200 gift certificate redeemable at the VGCC Bookstore . The drawing was announced in a mailing sent to area households. The drawing was held Dec. 13 and the winner was Scottie Hundley of Franklinton, a student in the college’s Human Services Technology/Mental Health program. Pictured above, Jennifer Luffman (left), Senior Accounting Technician in the VGCC Business Office and a member of the Ad-Hoc Committee for Spring 2011 Enrollment, presented the gift certificate to Hundley (right).
