VGCC South Campus Offers Substitute Teaching Course

Vance-Granville Community College is offering a course to train anyone interested in becoming a substitute teacher. Classes began on Monday, Jan. 29, but it is not too late to enroll. Classes will continue through March 5.The course will cover topics such as lesson plans, responsibilities of Substitute Teachers, legal issues, and discipline. This course is on the approved Master Course List for the N.C. Community College System. Participants who successfully complete the class will receive 3.0 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) and a Certificate of Completion.
