VGCC Seminar On April 7 Focuses On Women’s Self-Esteem, Motivation

Vance-Granville Community College’s Small Business Center will sponsor a free seminar, “Self-Esteem and Motivation for Women,” on Thursday, April 7.

Denise Ryan of Raleigh, who is described as “a motivational speaker who has re-energized hundreds of women,” will conduct the seminar in Room 7107 of Building 7 on the main campus in Vance County.

The seminar will explore the role of attitude and how to keep yours positive. Finding your unique purpose is a key theme of the seminar, and attendees will explore what makes them unique. Participants will also look at getting out of their comfort zones and confronting their fears as a way of improving self-esteem.

Diane Finch, director of VGCC’s Small Business Center, said: “After attending this seminar, you’ ll be ready to take on the world! This will be a great way to meet others as well as explore issues of importance to you.”

Space in the seminar is limited. To pre-register, call the VGCC Small Business Center at (252) 492-2061, extension 3239 or 3240.
