VGCC Schedules QuickBooks Class In September at South Campus

Vance-Granville Community College will offer a class on using the popular QuickBooks accounting software at its South Campus in Granville County.

The class will be taught on Monday evenings, September 11 through October 30, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.  South Campus is located on N.C. 56 between Butner and Creedmoor. 

QuickBooks is a powerful accounting system for small businesses.  Students in the class will learn the types of information that businesses need to track, how to enter that information, and then how track it in QuickBooks.  Additionally, they will learn to invoice customers, record payments for customers, pay bills to outside vendors, manage inventory, and analyze financial data.  Students will be given an opportunity for hands-on practice.  Timmy Baynes will be the course’s instructor.
