VGCC Reschedules Nursing Assistant Day Class At Franklin County Campus

A daytime class to train Nursing Assistant I’s at Vance-Granville Community College’s Franklin County Campus has been rescheduled to begin Tuesday, Jan. 18.

Classes will be held from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday-Thursday, beginning Jan. 18 and running until March 17 at the campus on N.C. 56 west of Louisburg. Upon completion of the course, graduates will be certified nursing assistants and will be prepared to work in hospitals, nursing homes, clinics and other healthcare facilities.

Registration for the course will be held at the Franklin Campus at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 12. To register, a person needs a negative TB skin test, their Social Security Number and a picture identification card, and the $95 registration fee.
