VGCC Plans Advanced Course For Nursing Assistants

Vance-Granville Community College will begin an evening Nursing Assistant II (NA II) class on March 7 at the main campus in Vance County.

Classes will be held from 5 to 9:30 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. Classes will begin on Monday, March 7, and run through Tuesday, June 14.

To qualify for the NA II course, persons must have a high school diploma or GED, must be certified Nursing Assistants I in good standing, and they must have a letter of recommendation from an employer.

Registration for the NA II class will be held at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, March 2, in Room 7106 on VGCC’s main campus.
