VGCC Offers Free Marketing Workshop For Business Owners At Franklin Campus

Marketing for small business is undergoing a revolution, and Vance-Granville Community College wants to help Franklin County small business operators cope with these changes.

A free workshop on “Marketing in Tough Times” will be held on Thursday, Feb. 13, from 6 to 9 p.m. at VGCC’s Franklin County Campus on N.C. 56 west of Louisburg.

Mile Collins, president of Perfect Workday of Wake Forest, a frequent presenter of workshops for VGCC’s Small Business Center, will lead this seminar. He will cover strategies of planning a low-cost marketing program, identify the best types of media, and offer tips on designing a public relations program.

“Participants will leave the workshop with dynamic approaches to public awareness,” said Diane Finch, director of the Small Business Center.

Interested persons are urged to pre-register for the marketing workshop by calling the Franklin County Campus at 496-1567 or the Small Business Center at (252) 738-3240.
