VGCC Franklin Campus course adds International Flair to Holiday Meals

With holidays fast approaching, Vance-Granville Community College will offer a course entitled “Learn to Cook & Prepare International Holiday Sweets, Treats and Gourmet Dishes,” at its Franklin County Campus . Classes will be held Thursday evenings, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., Oct. 23 through Dec. 18, on the campus, which is located on N.C. Highway 56 near Louisburg.

“This hands-on class offers great ideas for quick and easy holiday goodies and gourmet dishes that will tantalize your taste buds,” according to Franklin Campus Director Anthony Pope . Students will be introduced to various entrees, desserts and cake decorating techniques by instructor Anita Setta, who hails from Suriname in South America.

The cost of the course is $50, plus supplies.
