VGCC Financial Aid Representatives Hold Office Hours at Warren Campus

Warren County area residents who want to attend Vance-Granville Community College and are wondering how to pay for school have a convenient way to get answers to their financial questions.Every Monday evening from 4:30 until 6 p.m., the staff of VGCC’s Financial Aid office, led by director Frank Clark, will be available in Building 1 of the college’s Warren County Campus, located at 210 West Ridgeway Street in Warrenton. The Financial Aid representatives will offer information, advice and tools to take the mystery out of the process for families and individuals looking to attend college in January 2008.“Everyone should take this opportunity to find out about financial options for higher education and to fill out applications,” VGCC Warren Campus Dean George A. Henderson said. “Vance-Granville does everything it can to make sure that lack of money is not a barrier that prevents someone from maximizing their potential.”Financial assistance is available in a variety of forms to help VGCC students who meet the criteria for eligibility. Grants, work study, loans, and scholarships may be used singularly or in combination to meet a student’s needs. For more information or to make an appointment to talk with the Financial Aid staff, call the Warren County campus at (252) 257-1900.
