VGCC Clubs, Groups Give From The Heart

In the above photo, Bonnie Garner of Henderson, an Information Systems student, sorts toys assembled by the Student Government Association for the Henderson Jaycees Toys for Tots Christmas project. The SGA collected more than 60 items in the drive on campus and also contributed $50 to the cause.

The Criminal Justice club also made a $50 donation in support of the fundraiser.

MARKETING DEPARTMENT

In lieu of exchanging Christmas gifts, the VGCC Marketing Department personnel donated toys to the Henderson Jaycees “Toys For Tots” campaign, and also gave canned and dried food products to support ACTS. 

HUMAN SERVICES CLUB

Members of the VGCC Human Services Club held a canned food drive during the month of December. All donations were given to Safe Space, Inc., a shelter for battered women in Louisburg.

ADN NURSING CLASS OF 2002

The class collected and donated personal care items for Safe Space, Inc., a Franklin county based domestic violence program that provides safe housing, counseling and court advocacy to children and adult victims of domestic violence.
