VGCC Career Center Sponsors Workshop For “The 40 And Over” Job Hunter

The Career Center is sponsoring a workshop “The 40 and over” Job Hunter. This is a new topic. Students asked for it and we are providing the information, according to Career Center Coordinator Barbara Smith. “We are sure it will prove useful to this population and the ‘rising or upcoming’ population of this status,” she said.

Where: Conference Room of Building 8
Who: Debra Robinson, employment counselor at Vance County Employment Security Commission, will tell students how to make their age work for them and not against them.

Students are encouraged to attend, and staff and faculty members are welcome too
