VGCC cancels Women’s Volleyball season

Vance-Granville Community College has cancelled its 2010 women’s volleyball season due to an insufficient number of player commitments.

Volleyball is one of VGCC’s three intercollegiate sports, along with golf and men’s basketball. The college competes in National Junior College Athletic Association Division II.

VGCC athletic officials will use the coming year to continue to build the program in preparation for the 2011 season. Students interested in participating in women’s volleyball next season should contact coach Krista Carlson .
