Scholarship Gift

SCHOLARSHIP GIFT – Leon Turner, right, executive director of the Granville County Economic Development Commission, presents $6,000 from the Granville Industrial & Business Club to Vance-Granville Community College President Randy Parker for the college’s Endowment Fund and Scholarship Program. The presentation took place at the GIBC meeting Nov. 9 at Oxford Park. The GIBC has endowed six scholarships at VGCC, which are given annually to deserving students. GIBC raises the funds for the scholarships at its annual golf tournament held in August.
