Painting By Franklin CE Student Chosen For System Office Exhibit

N.C. Community College System President Martin Lancaster has chosen about 100 works of art for exhibit during 2002 in the system office headquarters in the Caswell Building in Raleigh, and a Vance-Granville representative from Franklin County has been chosen.

Lancaster chose an acrylic painting titled “Thinking” by Pam Danzer for inclusion in the exhibit. Danzer attends Continuing Education art classes with instructor Mary Harris at the Franklin County Campus.

Five entries were submitted by VGCC faculty, staff and students. Vance-Granville has had representation all five years the exhibit has been held, and as many as three from VGCC were chosen one year.
