Oxford Junior Woman’s Club Scholarship

Terri-Lynn Fite, president of the Oxford Junior Woman’s Club, presents $6,000 from the club to Vance-Granville Community College President Robert A. Miller to establish an Academic Achievement Award scholarship at the college. The $500 grant will be awarded each year to a woman from Granville County to help her with her education at VGCC. Fite said Vance-Granville is the community’s college, and the Junior Woman’s Club is all about helping the community.
