Money-saving tips offered at VGCC Coupon class

An upcoming Vance-Granville Community College workshop will help savvy shoppers cut costs while buying groceries and other essentials. A “Couponing” class is scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 10 from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at VGCC’s Main Campus in Vance County.

Jennifer Honeycutt of Henderson will serve as instructor for the class, and will teach participants the basics of how to start saving money through couponing, both online and in-store. She will provide coupon resources, coupon organization tips and ways to maximize savings by matching coupons and store sales. “There will also be some fun games to help get the topics across,” Honeycutt said.

The cost of the course is $24 per person, including all fees.
