Mark Your Calendar For Cultural Fair

Now is the time for VGCC clubs, students, faculty and staff to register to participate in the annual Cultural Fair, Feb. 28, to be held in the Civic Center from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Cultural Enhancement Committee is accepting applications from performers in any of the performing arts and for exhibit spaces for clubs, arts, crafts and cultural artifacts.

There is no space rental fee for exhibitors and their items may be for sale. Each space will have a minimum of one table and chair (maximum of 3 tables). It is important to reserve a space early, indicating the number of tables and chairs needed and whether it is necessary to be located near an electrical outlet.

Performers, who have not participated in a previous VGCC Cultural Fair, will be reviewed by the officers of CEC. Performances may not be longer than 25 minutes.

Faculty and staff are encouraged to participate in the Fair or contribute ethnic finger foods for the Food Tasting that will begin at 11 a.m. Please contact Helen Lindsey to sign up.

Applications may be obtained from Helen Lindsey in Student Support Services, Room 1107, Building 1. Applications must be returned to Lindsey by 4 p.m., Feb. 15, 2002.
