March 15 Is Priority Deadline For Scholarships & Financial Aid In 2003-04

Now is the time to be applying for scholarships and be completing financial aid forms for the upcoming academic year.

Scholarship applications are available from the Student Services offices in Building 8 and the Financial Aid Office in Building 4 for students who wish to apply for the 2003-2004 school year.

The scholarships, made possible by the VGCC Endowment Fund, are awarded by a committee of faculty and staff.

Students should apply by March 15 in order to ensure that their application will be reviewed by the Scholarship Committee at its April meeting. Though students may apply later, the chances of receiving a scholarship are reduced if students miss the March 15 deadline.

In addition, March 15 is the Financial Aid Office’s Priority Deadline to be considered for all available annual resources.

Because March 15 falls on a Saturday this year, students should make sure applications are completed and received by the afternoon of Friday, March 14.

Scholarship applications are available online by visiting the VGCC website at
