LEARNING ABOUT ANIMALS…Young students at Vance-Granville Community College’s Day Care Center have recently been studying pets, and on August 22, they received a special visit from a young goat and several baby ducks.  Pictured above are (front, seated, from left):  Mariah Krupa of Warrenton and Laci-Leigh Oettinger of Henderson; (back, from left) Rebecca Currin, Jackson Hopper, Daniel Parham, all of Henderson; Sarah Morgan of Warrenton holding “Hershey” the goat; Zoey Ivey and Allison Kilgore of Henderson; Kaylie Williamson of Wake Forest; and Amanda Cease and Luke Woltz of Henderson.  The animals were brought by Mariah’s mother, Sarah Morgan, and by her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Gary Morgan of Warrenton.  Gary Morgan is Vice President of Finance and Operations for VGCC (VGCC Photo).
