Basic Skills Classes Offered At Convenient Times At VGCC’s Warren County Campus

Need Adult Basic Education preparation for the General Education Development (GED) test? Vance-Granville Community College has three options at convenient times to get these classes at its Warren County Campus.

ABE/GED classes are offered from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays, or 6 to 8 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays, or 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays.

“We feel by offering classes at all these times, persons who need them will find a way to meet their own schedules,” said George Henderson, VGCC’s Director of Continuing Education for Basic Skills.

In addition, high school dropouts who want to return to school to get their diplomas under the Adult High School Diploma program may do so on Mondays through Thursdays from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the Warren Campus on Ridgeway Street in Warrenton.

The Warren Campus also offers English-As-A-Second Language classes every Tuesday and Thursday from 6 to 9 p.m. for persons who want to acquire basic English language skills.
