Ayscue retires after over 13 years serving VGCC students

Carolyn Ayscue of Henderson recently retired as a Financial Aid Assistant at Vance-Granville Community College. Ayscue’s colleagues held a retirement reception in her honor on Jan. 30 at the college’s Main Campus.

Ayscue first joined the VGCC Financial Aid Office on Oct. 22, 2001, following many years with Harriet and Henderson Yarns. She served as the college’s Veterans Certifying Official, meaning that she had a special role in helping military veterans and eligible dependents to use the educational assistance benefits they had earned.
