Ambassador Spotlight: Meet Adam Copeland

Meet Adam Copeland, College Transfer/Associate of Arts degree student.

A graduate of Wake Forest Rolesville High, Adam sought education at Vance-Granville Community College because he found it to be a “quality local junior college that was reasonably priced.”

Some of Adam’s favorite classes have been Chem 151, British Literature and Major American Writers. He also tutors Chem 90 students.

Concerning instructors, Adam says that he “appreciates” the open teaching style of Steve McGrady, stating that dialogue between the class and instructor is encouraged, while Betsy Henderson encourages students to be brave and to explore.

Employed at Heritage Golf Club in Wake Forest, Adam says his hobbies include reading, going to museums, “taking road trips,” and “seeing new people and places.”

Adam’s long range plans include transferring to a four-year college – either Appalachian State or UNC – to study Biology, Chemistry and English and to obtain his BSN.

Best of luck to Adam in his future endeavors!
