Empower VGCC Students as a Golf Tournament Sponsor

VGCC's 2024 Golf Tournament will take place May 6-7 in Henderson, NC.

2024 marks the 40th anniversary of The VGCCF Golf Tournament Fundraiser.

The Vance-Granville Community College Foundation is making plans for its 40th Annual Golf Tournament & Celebration. That’s four decades of golf and changing the lives of our students! This spring’s tournament will be held May 6–7 at Henderson Country Club .

The success of this tournament is credited largely to our sponsors, who lend their names and financial support to the event. The golf tournament serves as one of VGCC’s primary fundraisers every year. It raises funds for need-based scholarships to help eligible students with the cost of tuition and books, as well as student emergency grants.

Community colleges do more than just impact students on campus; they are key to a community’s economic viability. We would like to accomplish greater growth this year and offer even more individuals an opportunity to pursue their educational dreams—but we can only achieve this if we acquire more support from the community.

It’s our hope you would be willing to change the lives of our students by supporting this year’s golf tournament. Your support ensures our students will have a pipeline to their education. Without sufficient funding, our prospective and current students might face a choice between paying for food or their college education. By increasing scholarship opportunities, we can ensure dedicated students have the chance to develop their educational pathway and impact our communities for generations to come.

We hope you will consider giving the gift of an education. If you are interested in being one of our sponsors or playing in our tournament, please take a look at the sponsorship opportunities available here . We are happy to answer any questions you may have.

Thank you in advance for your willingness to support the efforts of The VGCC Foundation and make a difference in the lives of our students!
