News

You did the work, completed your program requirements, and applied to graduate from Vance-Granville Community College this May—now what?

Students in VGCC’s Class of 2026 must attend one of the mandatory in-person information sessions listed below if:

  • they have completed their degree or diploma requirements by Dec. 2025 or May 2026, or are registered to complete their requirements by July 2026,
  • and they plan to participate in the College’s May 2026 commencement exercises (graduation).

Each session will cover the same important topics related to VGCC’s newly redesigned graduation ceremony: Ticket information, ceremony dates, dress, arrival times, graduate line-up location, pre-ceremony rehearsal, and information for guests including parking and accessibility.

Attendance to one session is mandatory for participating graduates. Pre-registration is not required. All sessions will take place at the College’s Main/Henderson Campus.
