News

Vance-Granville’s Initiative for the Empowerment of Women (VIEW) invites you to its fourth annual summit, taking place at the College’s Main Campus on Thursday, March 20. This empowering event will aim to uplift and support guests from across our community. Organizers are excited to announce that this year’s event isn’t only for women—all are welcome!

Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with local community vendors and participate in insightful discussions on crucial topics such as mental health, resilience, domestic violence, and financial literacy.

Speakers will include community partners Danetta McKnight, Margier White, and Ryanne Peterson. Cathy Davis, VGCC’s Coordinator of Counseling, Accessibility, & Support Services, will also speak at the event.

Make plans to join us for an afternoon of inspiration, learning, and community connection! While attendance is free, summit organizers ask that attendees register by March 14 to help with planning. Sign up at vgcc.jotform.com/233483054129051.

Visit the event page to add a reminder to your calendar today, and invite a friend by sharing the official Facebook Event.
