Save the date for the fourth annual women’s summit presented by V.I.E.W., Vance-Granville’s Initiative on Equity for Women! Since its establishment, the summit has served as the centerpiece of the College’s yearly Women’s History Month festivities.

This empowering event, themed “Breaking Barriers, Empowering Women,” will aim to uplift and support women in our community. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with local community vendors and participate in insightful discussions on crucial topics such as mental health, resilience, domestic violence, and financial literacy. Join us for an afternoon of inspiration, learning, and community connection.

Previously known as Vance-Granville’s Initiative on Equity for Women of Color, V.I.E.W.’s mission is to support the success of female students at VGCC through education, empowerment, experience, and exposure in order to significantly increase retention rate as well as improve job attainment.
