Quiz Bowl Winners

Members of the winning team in the Vance-Granville Community College Quiz Bowl held Nov. 5 are, from left: Keith Anderson of Franklinton, Roberta Hudson of Henderson, Karen Ray of Wake Forest and David Nunnamaker. Nine teams of students attempted to answer questions in Math, English, Geology and History during three rounds of 24 questions each round. The top three teams competed in the finals, and the winning team took top honors with seven correct responses to five and four correct for the second- and third-place teams. Students, faculty and staff filled the auditorium in Building 2 to view the competition.
