Going Up!

The skeletal frame of the expansion at Vance-Granville Community College’s South Campus is taking shape. Work on the 8,000 square-foot addition to the campus off I-85 on N.C. 56 between Creedmoor and Butner is ahead of schedule and should be completed by September, school officials say. The expansion will provide a new, larger cosmetology department, an extensive computer lab and several additional classrooms. Renovations to existing spaces will modernize the radiography department and the general science lab, and a student lounge and large bookstore will be created from an existing classroom.
