VGCC collection boxes provide an opportunity to give back

Donation box containing a variety of toiletry items

Each of VGCC's four campuses will be collecting items for local nonprofit partners during December 2023.

This holiday season, Vance-Granville Community College is giving back to the community inclusive of Infinite Possibilities Inc. , Families Living Violence Free , and Safe Space Inc. by donating items for our neighbors served by these organizations. A collection box will be placed on each campus for donations, and we will accept items until Friday, December 15. Please consider donating something from the list below; if everyone will donate at least one item, we can really make a difference in the communities we serve.

List of needed items:

  • Gently-used coats for all sizes and age groups – urgent need
  • Toiletry items
  • Sanitizers
  • Hats, tams, or caps

  • Deodorant
