Biotechnology (Certificate)

The VGCC Bioprocess Technology Programs will prepare students to work in various laboratory roles and as manufacturing process technicians in biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies. All courses for the certificate program will also count towards future completion of the Diploma in Bioprocess Technology (approximately one year of study) and the Associates of Applied Science in Bioprocess Technology (approximately two years of study), should students wish to continue their studies beyond the certificate. Graduates will help attract economic growth to Vance, Granville, Franklin, and Warren counties as companies desire to open and expand in the area with a well-trained workforce. This program is also offered as a Career and College Promise (CCP) Pathway for eligible high school students. Be part of North Carolina’s growing biotechnology industry! Enroll Today!
