A Celebration of the Life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
VGCC's 2024 event honoring the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. will take place on Tuesday, January 23.
Please mark your calendars and join us for a celebration honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., hosted by our Men’s Achievement Academy and VIEW, Vance-Granville’s Initiative on Equity for Women ! The event theme for 2024 is “Decreasing Inequities and Increasing Opportunities.”

This free event will bring together people from all walks of life to commemorate the incredible legacy of Dr. King. Expect an inspiring speech from Dr. D. Kelvin Bullock, Executive Director for Equity & Professional Development for Durham Public Schools , as well as songs from the VGCC Staff Choir. Refreshments will be served.
