MUS 114* Introduction to World Music

This course provides a basic survey of World Music. Emphasis is placed on non-traditional instruments, sources, and performing practices. Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate skills in basic listening and understanding of the art of World Music. This course has been approved for transfer under the CAA and ICAA as a general education course in Humanities/Fine Arts.
